Happy Friday, friends! How was your week? Hope it was a great week for you! This week I decided to do something a little different for my Friday Favorites. I am sharing pictures from my old neighborhood and one of my favorite parts of Seattle, plus a pineapple mint smoothie to help you cool off this weekend if you’re living somewhere with lots of heat.
These pictures were taken at the South Lake Union. I used to live on the other side of the lake and loved the view I had from my apartment.
This lake is always filled with runners and bicyclists. I used to run the 6-mile loop when I lived in the area. It is my favorite place to run in the city!
What’s a plane that can land on the water called? A seaplane! These seaplanes are everywhere on the Lake Union! It’s fun watching them land on the water because this is not something that you get to see everywhere you go.
I wish I took more pictures but I had to get to dinner. Having dinner on the lake is amazing. You really can’t beat the gorgeous view. My quick snapshots don’t really do justice so you’ll have to see it for yourself. If you plan on visiting Seattle, you MUST come see the beautiful view at the Lake Union and grab a bite while you’re at it! There are tons of restaurants in the area but be prepared for massive traffic since it’s quite a busy part of town!
Anyway, I made this pineapple mint smoothie a few days and thought I would share it with you! It’s quick and easy and you’ll find it so refreshing on a hot day!
Pineapple Mint Smoothie
1/4 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
2 cups pineapple slices
