Happy Thursday! Can you believe we are already near the weekend?! I hope you’re enjoying it so far! This week I started going to group fitness classes again. I haven’t gone in a long time and I really missed being in a group environment where everyone is having fun and supporting one another. So far I’ve gone to spin class this week but I plan on also doing hot yoga since I purchased a 30-day pass. I looked up the group fitness class schedule for my gym and hot yoga studio and plugged in the times and dates that work for me into my phone. This means an alert will go off on my phone one hour before the class starts and it will be a gentle reminder for me to make it to my fitness class! I use my calendar to plan everything, including work meetings and social events, so why not use it as an appointment reminder for myself? I am hoping this will help me stay motivated and prevent me from making excuses to miss another class (especially the hot yoga classes that I had already paid for!)
Anyway, I have been in the mood for raspberries lately and I’ve decided to whip up this honey raspberry glazed wings recipe. Try it out and I’ll guarantee that you’ll love it!
Honey Raspberry Glazed Wings
12-14 wings or drum lets
1/2 cup organic raspberry preserves
1/3 cup light soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
one minced garlic clove
1/4 teaspoon minced ginger
salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Lightly sprinkle salt and pepper on wings. When the oven is preheated, arrange the wings on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
- Heat small saucepan over low heat. Add the organic raspberry preserves, light soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Let ingredients simmer for about 10 minutes.
- When wings are fully cooked, brush the sauce over each wing. Serve and enjoy!
