Birthday Post

A Birthday Post!

I can’t believe today is the first day of my last year in my 20′s! (Translation: I turn 29 today!) I’m often told that I don’t look my age, nor do I even feel my age. Each year just seems to creep up on me so fast! Does anyone else feel this way too?

This is a picture of me at my birthday dinner last year. I had dinner with friends at a teppanyaki restaurant (a Japanese restaurant where they grill in front of you.) I didn’t have birthday candles but I did get to blow out some torches, which I think is even more fun!

Even though each year passes by so quickly and not every moment is always perfect, I must say that I am loving life! This past year has been wonderful in so many ways.

Here is a little reflection of the past year:

I did a lot of traveling! My fiancé (now husband) and I took a road trip down to California. It was our first road trip together and it was such a fun experience! Our first stop was Napa Valley and below is a winery we went to call Ambrosia di Castello. Yes, it looks like an actual castle! If you plan on visiting Napa, I definitely recommend you stop by here. It’s such a beautiful place and their wine is excellent!

We were also in California for my cousin’s wedding. Here are some silly pictures we took at the photo booth!

I went to Vegas on Halloween for my bachelorette party. Of course, we all know that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas so I will just post a picture of the view of the strip from Mix Lounge!

I also took a trip to Hawaii with 45 of our close friends and family members. Scroll down to find out the reason why we traveled with such a large group!

We had our friends and family travel with us to Hawaii to attend our big wedding day! This day was so perfect and I couldn’t ask for anything more!

This sums up my past year in a nutshell! Looking at all of my vacation pictures makes me want to jump on a plane and go somewhere! I can always dream, right?

What do you usually do for your birthday?

What is your greatest memory from this past year?

Love,

Polly
